For some reason on this computer I'm using: winxp the menu on 3dtotal.com doesn't work, but on my older xp it does. Any clue as to why? and how can i get it to work? I know its not the browser cuz it doesn't work in any of the browsers on this comp but works in all the browsers on the older one.

I had this problem before myself. It has to do with the security level in IE. Configure it manually and u should be ok.
Cant remember what spesific setting u have to change, but its located in the list under internett options\security.

I'm having the same problems with the menus on 3dtotal at the moment.
Thing is....they dont work in IE, Netscape or Firefox :p
I'm sure it started when I installed the latest service pack for winXP (which also screwed my max5 viewports when using directX :( )

Sorry to resurrect an old post (on my first effort too, hurrah for me), but this has been bugging me for a while. None of the menus on the 3DTotal homepage work for me using XP and XP pro and Firefox 1 and IE 6 on all my home computers. I can use the page at work (which is strange as we have pretty tight security). I have tried changing security settings etc as above, but nothing.
Does anyone have any ideas? As is the site is pretty much pointless for me as I can't go to any of the sections (tutorials, galleries etc)
Cheers.

Yeah I'm still having this problem. The thing is it works when I boot from linux and use conquerer (sp?). But it still doesn't work on my winxp with ANY of the web browsers. It's definintly a problem with the OS.
Can anyone figure out what I need to download, reinstall?

A heads up. As of this afternoon I can access all the pop up menus with Firefox, but NOT IE (no great loss there). I haven't changed any settings as far as I can tell. Fingers crossed.

I was about to start a new thread about this till I came across this one. I have the same problem also and am running WinXP Pro. Anyone had this problem and fixed it, whilst knowing what they changed on their OS? :wall:

I have been experiencing the same problem in both IE and Firefox also, I run Norton AV and Norton Firewall, so what i did was open IE, then go to 3d total home page.
on the top tool bar i clicked Norton Firewall change security settings tab and unchecked everything. Closed IE and everything works in Firefox now as it should.
I couldn't configure this within Norton itself but doing it this way seemed to do the trick.
No more problems yippee..

Thanks for the help Andoy. It solved half of my problem because now I can see moving banners! Didn't realise there were any animated ones. However the links on the top banner still do not work. I am running Norton Antivirus and Firewall with Firefox as well. Really would like to see the rest of the site :o

Hey Andoy you have fixed my problem. I needed to clear all my cookies and cache files in both IE and Firefox :o . So If there are any others that are having this trouble with the web site and are using Norton, follow Andoy's instructions and then make sure you clear your cache and cookies files in both internet apps for it to work.
Great Site by the way, I always thought that there were only the recent updates and stuff to look at. ;P

Glad to see that it's not only my damn computer which produces this problem. I followed all the instructions given by Andoy, but still no success. :( Any more ideas how to fix it ? I have given up for now.

Dont know why 3dtotal cant fix the problem. Its just the code that has a flaw.
