Well I havent exactly sorted all of them out yet so their everywhere but in the folder that contains most of my songs would be just short of 30 gigs. I'll get you an update when I have everything sorted.

I've got my entire CD collection digitally ripped from every CD album, single and Vinyl that I own, and so i've got about 65Gig which currently amounts to just over 14,105 mp3's

I love music, what can I say :)

I don't have any MP3's. But I have a hard drive that is pretty much exclusively used by my wife for her MP3s and such. She also stores some videos there. But the MP3 folder registers 48.3 GB and 14,531 files, which I'm sure includes some playlists and that type of thing. She's a music listening fool.

I find it interesting, though to see how much the numbers change over three years time.

Someone mentioned about mp3's not being as good a quality as CD

Well the majority of my mp3's are ripped at 120 and then re-encoded to 320, and i've got DFX effects for my Winamp and my Dell speakers are HD Audio Pro Logic, so the quality is better than my old Hi Fi Stereo. And they sound good on my little tiny 120MB MP3 player.

But I listen too my playlist every single day, and love listening to music all the time, especially when i'm modelling, it makes me happy

Especially when i'm listening to remixes of which i've got 4000 :)

PLUS

The best thing about having a playlist this big is i've got about 40 totally different playlists I can choose from, for moods i'm in, today i'm listening mainly to 80's, then i've got Rock, Pop, Heavy Metal, Classical, Remixes & Mashups/Bootlegs, Sountracks & Game Music. And it's great to have everything in the same place. Sometimes it's pain having to find a CD and also having to put the CD(s) in and out of the disc tray. Why bother when you've got your entire collection digitally backed up :)
