I came up with this for another forum but hasn't gotten any response so I thought I'd copy/paste it in here:
Instead of just a single "subject" line in the create thread window, how bout several boxes (above the "message body" box I'm typing in now) that are REQUIRED to fill out before a new thread can be started. Say you make a Software box (Where you gotta write like 3dsmax, Maya, Lighwave etc), a Theme box (Vehicle, character, environment etc.) and a Name box (Name of the project.. "Warrior", "Volvo 240", "Planet Mars" etc etc..)
I think that would look a lot nicer as the thread names would be much easier to seperate.
Also, in the software box, since most people tend to spell the names differently (3DSMAX, 3d studio Max, 3dsmax, 3D Studio MAX etc etc) which I think is highly annoying, it should if possible be a selection box that had the most common softwares listed as well as a box for typing in the name of the program if it was not in the list.
It might be too much work but I think it would make the show-your-artwork-forums much more organized.
No?
