3dmax help needed [Archive]

i want to create poly's between the 2nd finger and the hand, but the problem is :

when i pres the create button, i can click on the polys of the finger, but not the on the hand, likt the one i cirkeled red

help please...

Have u deleted the polys that make out the hole for the finger on the hand part?

thats weird, my suggestion would be to select all verts and click weld (put a small radius) and make sure there arent more than one on top of eachother for some reason. also i dont know if this makes a difference but are they seperate elements or on different IDs or layers. i dont use layers or IDs much at all so i dont even know if that would cause it but its just a guess... :-/ good luck.
