hi everyone, i did this drawing recently and thought why not share it with all of u here, its from a series, that im making on still lifes, landscapes, compostions, etc. aiming to capture light at various times and conditions and textures of various sorts.
its done in a pure traditional manner.
i hope u like this one as well.

hello there, thanks ibbo for your such a positive comment. well, my first exhibition of drawings and paintings was a solo show, and was held in 1994. till now ive held 4 solo exhibitions, and have taken part in more than 15 group shows, in pakistan and abroad, have been teaching painting and drawing and guitar too.
now apart from all that i work in a production house as well, as a 3d artist.

an excellent drawing. quite pleasant to look at. I hope you keep with your series and share some more of it with us. by the way, what's your medium for this piece? (charcoal and chalk?, or pencil) also, what size?

edit: just noticed - I know it's difficult to draw the folds on the cloth, but I just noticed that they reflect off the vase, too.

edit: and again -- have you considered putting all your artwork in one thread? (I don't know if you will receive less feedback, but those of us enamoured with the pieces would simply regularly check that thread, instead of looking through all the posts in the forum for your work. More importantly, your old work never gets neglected because it never drops off the forum after 30 days.)

littlefish & chk.... thanks a lot for your time and such positive comments...im glad that u observed it with such interest..
littlefish, ive other work too here, a couple of my oil paintings, the prob is that when i was submitting them, i could put them together in one thread, i tried it many times, but failed. u are rite, i wanted to have all of my work in one thread, but i couldnt get the process..
next time ill try to do that..
