Does anyone know how export UVWs from 3ds max to Photoshop (the tradiotional way without texporter).

I think texporter is great.Why not use it?

I use PSD pathunwrapper and find it a great tool, and so much cleaner than print screen and paste into photoshop.
Texporter is good also so why not use them like GOAT-3D says, they make life a lot easier.

you know you can goto like tools and hit render UV template, save it as a tga and then open it in photoshop, add your textures then save it, then hit M on keyboard to add it as a bitmap and presto your done... :smug:

You could also use render to texture... shortcut key 0 <- zero

If you apply a Unwrap UVW modifier to your object, and inside the modifier hit "edit", than go to tools>render UVW template. This way you can set your wanted size and render a file that can be opened in ps. Be sure though to first unwrap your model :)
