Hi all,

I have found the Tutorial "Modeling Joan of Arc" on 3dtotal.com . My question : Can I translate this tutorial - which is originally written by Michel Roger - into german language ? Can I make some of the files available for download on another page ?

I sended a email questioning the same as above to Michel Roger 3 weeks ago , but there was no response.
So I hope that you can help me make it possible to portate this great tutorial into german and let me publish some of the files on our server. By the way: I'm not working with 3D Max. I'm using Movie 3D published by Aist.com and originally created by realsoft.

Many Thanks in advance,
Roland.

Hi Roland,

I'm afraid in general the answer is no. You can however try to contact Michel Roger, asking him for permission. It is his tutorial afterall.

Good luck.

Hi Chris,
thanks for the quick answer - even when it's a negative one (what I expected).

Two day's ago I sended another mail to a diffrent e-mail address but I think there will be no reply too ....

So I ask you : Is it possible to get in contact with him at all ?

Thanks,
Roland.

That I know of, the tutorial was originally done in french. How about you try contacting the guys who had it translated into english?
I think it was Tom and Stefan Roth. They might be able to get you in contact with Michel :)

Good luck anyway!

Hi Chris and 3dGator,

thank you for your help and ideas (especially 3dGator). Yesterday I received an email from Michel Roger. I now have his "OK" to translate and portate his tutorial.

@Chris
Michel thought that his tutorial already has been translated into german. Maybe you should contact him again ... x-mas time is near and people are more generous :-).

Frohen Nikolaustag Euch allen :-),
Roland.
