Help with rotation and bounce

Hi I am in deperate need of some help. I am trying to create a bouncing armadillo with rotation. However I am struggling to get any realistic timing and bounce plus the rotation is not smooth. I am a beginner at 3D so would really appreciate some help.

I don't know what prog you're using... but have you tried using a path constraint for the bouncing movement?
