Does anyone know if your able to make low poly in truespace 3.1? And if yes...How?

Yes, you can use Truespace for low poly, but its toolset is not really geared towards low poly modelling. If you are going to be concentrating on low poly modelling then something like Milkshape 3d or GMax might be a better option. Both are free and both are used with existing games; Milkshape is geared towards Quake style models and GMax is used in a lot of games for mods.

If you want to pay money then 3ds Max is probably the best option, though Maya is becoming more common. You can also download a free "watermarked render" version of Maya, if I remember right.

Forgot Wings 3D as well, though it's been a while since I used it and I can't remember what its unwrapping capabilities are...
