network rendering---please help

could anyone help me with this?
i use 3Ds max 6 and the problem that i have with network rendering is that i have to instal 3dsmax on each computer...
isn't any way that i could use the processors from different computers in the nettwork?
FinalRender network rendering does that?....i haven't used FR network rendering before.

Hi.

As far as I know, you have to install Max to all the computers in your renderfarm.... but... you don't need a new license for each computer.
You just need a license for the computer you're working on.

While this thread is already on the topic of the question I wanted to post:
Is it possible to do net rendering over the internet? The user's manual says it is designed only for use in a LAN.
