Well iam learning 3DsMax , and i need to "weld" two differents objects, because i want to weld some vertex between them.

attach them up, delete the polys on each side that ur welding togther, enter vertex mode, select the 2 overlapping vertices and click weld, and in theory, tada :D

if theres a problem, i generally find it means theres a poly somewhere that u need to del. hope that helps

exactly what goronking said but another way to weld is use the "target weld" tool, as you dont need the two vertexes to be within the "weld threshhold" as you do with the straight "weld tool"
