I have decided to submit several still images to Expose'3 and here's one of them, that I have been working on for a while, still wip, I guess. It will have a blurry background of some sort and I'm not sure yet if I'm going to make the whole body, may just be a close-up, really need some crits or suggestions on this one;)

This is really cool Rubberduck, but I doubt you'll get in with that boring grey background. I can see this image going a lot further if you cram this one with more detail going on in the back. You know, lot's of harlequin paraphenalia... This could be really special if you put in the time.

Agree with the background, and also I will tone down the white of the face. I can't see any shape on the face, just the eyes, the mouth and the nose holes. I supose that's the idea, but I think it's too exagerated now and that pure white hurts. And also maybe you can do the hair strands bigger and more continous, cause now the poly hair is too obious. The rest is ok for me.
Good luck on the expose!!!

MonteCristo-3DT: Thanks;) I know, right now it's pretty boring looking, that's why it's still wip:) I will add stuff in the background, just not sure what at the moment.
Woody: Thanks man;) Yeah, it's a little too white, I guess, I'll tone it down some and about the hair, I might add some more strands or I thought about when it's getting close to being finished, then take it into Photoshop and finishing up the hair.
Any ideas what to put in the background?
I don't think I have a chance to be accepted into Expose' 3, but you never know till you tried;)

for the background im picturing something like in a festival, with dancing dragons in the background, like in front of a temple or something with crowds lined in the side with a warm mood/light, with colors mostly consisting of red / gold
kinda though to explain, but that's my idea :o
