Hey guys,
I only just got my hands on a copy of 3d Studio MAX and have been busy making models. I've just finished my first and am wondering how i can add texture to it?

Can somone help me?

Read the tutorials that come with Max, then work your way through some of them to get a grip on the basics.
Then visit the 3d total tutorials and work through some of them, read the forums and keep trying till you find the best method for you.
It's not difficult just time consuming at times really.

the short, easy and very ugly way:

press 'm' on your keybord, get a material from the library (press the little cube down left) and drag it onto your model...

the hard, long and winding road (but most certainly fulfilling and good looking):

Go to 3dtotal.com and study the tutorials on texturing, shading and mapping. Then map your object, make your own custom textures in Photoshop and make a work of art...
