is it possible to draw a 2d picture in illustrator and bring it in max?

Im wondering if its possible to draw a picture in illustrator then import it in max and extrude it out and texture it? or dose it have to be re-created in max?

yes its posible....I do it all the time.

you may have to save from illustrator as a older version (5.5 or similar)

import as .AI
