View Full Version : HUGE beginner- want to try a car
Hey there
I am a huge beginner with all this 3d stuff and all, and i have 3ds max 6, and i would love to model a car, but is there any real good tuts for beginners for cars? or should i start on something easier?
I have no idea about much, so is there some really good tuts for beginners?
Cheers

I'm amazed how many absolute beginners shell out 3K on a software programme that they know nothing about..
I suppose it's good to see though
check out the tutorials here they will help you out.

Hi.
There are a lot of car-tutorials out there. Just keep looking.
I can't remember the url of those tutorials though... but here is something a friend og mine made:
http://www.coldmind.dk/free.html
There are both text-tutorials and video-tutorials .

Btw... I just found this homepage:

I think the author is a member here on this site... but I can't remember the name.

My recommendation is start with something easier. Read alot of car tutorials keep trying. My advice is don't get discouraged and just keep trying.I modeled my first satifying car when I was using max for about the first 4 or 5 months.
