texture map

hi, i am making a character from my sketch but uhm, i have made a plane and gave it my texture, but i only can see it if i render it, so how can i change that so i can see it also in my perspective viewport and such?

[show map in viewport] button in your material editor....
if you can`t find it just hover your cursor over the buttons....the name will appear:)
