It is because to some people the system just doesn't function the way they think it should... Do you get my point? it is like drawing, only you want it to behave a certain way, only in reality it is still ink. We just know how to handle ink "properly"...

For the HTC - wait a little. the HD is top notch, but it lacks a hardwarekeyboard. from my experience -i´m using the nokia communicators since the 9000 model from 1997 or so - hardwarekeyboard is a must!!!! and i read on some mobile blog that htc will bring the hd or a hd-like-phone with keyboard in the first quarter of 2011. the desire z ha slower system specs than the desire without keys. and thats where i as - wtf?!
wait a little and then get the best of both worlds. i´m still not sure about my next phone. hd7, or android, or waitng for the next nokia communicator. my e90 is almost 4 years old now - but it works like a charm, so i´d like to have such a reliable produkt again

Yup i have a Desire HD, It a superfast phone, but sure i can get a bit irritated when it comes to writing, so i usualy keep it short, one or two sentences and then im done.
But as you say, nokia do make good phones, but i had some trouble with a nokia some years ago, and when something aint working for me, im not going to use it again for a while. but sure when nokia ditches symbian and starts with android im on the train again.

Only today for example I can tell some stories and I just got out for some water and food

1) a big 4x4 car blocked my car in the parking I wait wait shake the car maybe the alarm will turn on, nothing. And is nothing I could do.
2) because no car, I was going to a near by shop to buy food even I know there is allot more expensive then where I go with the car.
I saw the prices, their where more expensive but well I buy just for today so no big deal. But when I arrived home and look at the receive, the prices where different from what I saw in the store tags, allot bigger so the total prices was like double the price I pay in the store where I go with the car for same products :(
Nothing legal I could do, If i go to receive money back I end up beat buy bodyguards for sure, If I call consumer protection, maybe I end up worse. And they pay the guys and they will get out clean.
3) after I start eating very angry, I start the tv and the news come up, 3 nuns where free from jail after 6 years because they and one priest kill in 2005 an young epileptic girl trying to exorcizer her.

Haha, Psycho. That's funny. I recently "traded" a friend of mine a photo shoot for a website. He spent about 45 minutes taking pictures of my family, but I spent countless hours custom designing a flash-based website for him that has in-line editing of all aspects. He couldn't decide on a logo...or a background image... Eventually, I had to say, "Look, I can't spend any more time on this. I've got over 30 hours in it already. You can edit the site on your own, anyway." He says yeah cool and totally botches the design (http://www.claytonprater.com) with his background image and logo. Then, he comes back and wants more custom flash galleries so that he doesn't have to use flickr on certain parts of the site. I'm like, "When I get to it..."

What a joke. People always take advantage of each other... Of course, I only had him take our family photos because he has a nice camera. I told him he didn't have to edit any of them, and he said, "It's no prob. I have a macro set up that does it automatically."

So, his 3 hours of work to my 30+.... Something is wrong there, isn't it?

Its about two or three years ago now. But anyway.
This friend calls me "ey dude I have a client and he want some 3D package shots. Can you do that for me? Off course you'll get paid for it.
Me: Sure, no problem. When do you need it?
He: Well, the client needs it tomorrow. How much do you want for it?

Since that wasn't in the original list of functionality, I said it would cost more. Then, they wanted the app to export data in Excel format. Wasn't in the original list...would cost extra.

Needless to say, they don't REALLY want all of those features...they just want to see what I'll do for free.

Last week I got a call from someone: His boss wanted a mural (3m by 4m wall) to be decorated with a 3D image. So they asked me for a price which I gave them, and the dude said shall call me back the next day. Of course he didn't.

So today I called him back asking if he was still interested, but his boss though I was too expensive and they found a guy doing it for € 20,- per hour. I told him I can't work for such rates, but I should have told him I was more expensive because I am just good. Although I do not think it would have worked :p.

After the project is accepted, the funds are transfered to Vworker site, so the client also don't have access to it. You do your job, and you don't need to worry about anything. Even if the client don't like result (or asks for more free work), you can say that the project is completed. If clients wants to call an arbiter, that's Ok too if you're done your job. Arbiter (from Vworker) comes, and if he see you've done everything that was in the job request, he will release you money, and he will give 1 (negative) score to the client.

It's true, the competition at Elance is maddening. There are so many people doing stuff on their site that the competition really drives prices down. That makes it really hard to get started because you have to beat other prices since you don't have any real references. But, once you get a few jobs under your belt, people are willing to pay more for the comfort. My first Elance job was to do 15 single-panel cartoons for just over $100. It took me a month, but the client was really pleased. I got my first print pub through her, and lots of repeat business. (The repeat business is where I get my shirt back from the first job I do for people.)

Then there's people like this: http://www.membersonlytribute.com They wanted me to build them a website. They only wanted to spend $150. I usually price things at $30/hour. So, they get a website I can't even put in my portfolio because they didn't want something nice...they wanted something cheap. It's almost not even worth doing.

Well. Their website goes really well with their music so I think you have done a pretty good job.

They're actually amazing in real life. A "perk" from doing their site was that I got to get myself and some friends in VIP-style to one of their gigs, and it was actually pretty awesome. And I hate 80s music. Of course, watching drunk people dance to 80s music may have helped.

We're in the same boat on this one. Ha! see what I did there? Pool,ocean,boat... Anyway, insects and deep waters are my only phobias I think. Kinda weird considering that I live on the coast of Baltic Sea and there is nothing better than to swim and have fun on the beach during the summer time. Guess it has something to do with the fact that we don't know much about what's going down there...below...in the dark,scary water...

Last night was snowing and cover my car with allot of snow and I wake up really late in the morning and got late for job, and because the car was all over with snow I took the subway to avoid spending 30min to clean the car and late even more to job.

I would buy that, but it seems like it would be a pain to use after 15-20 minutes. Plus, my experience with the Move controller isn't that it lines up perfectly with the screen. In other words, it never feels like I could "look down the barrel" of the Move controller and have it line up with the reticle. If I can't look down the barrel of the gun attachment and have it line up, then the purpose of it just doesn't seem attractive to me. BUT, if it works, then let me know!
