Tripods in the Rain

This is my first post here on 3D Total,amazing work been done here by the people on these forums.
I created this pic in Vue 4,though elements of the Tripods and the Barns were made in Max 3,these are not the War of the Worlds tripods,but rather based on those in the Tripods Trilogy by John Christopher.

Thanks for the very positive comments,here's a pic of the Tripod mesh,now this has a bit of history to it,I built the bulk of it many moons ago in Vue d'Esprit 2 which I got free with a magazine,so nearly all of it is just made out of Vue primitives,but a few years later I went back to it and made the feet in Max 3 and tweaked the guns a bit too.So this is probably the oldest mesh that I still have with a mad Poly count of around 144,000 poly's,built in the days before I realised how to optimise things !

That looks incredible, I love everything about it. I know what Tripods you're talking about too, that program used to scare me to death.

This isn't quite the Tripod from the BBC TV show of many years ago,but it's what inspired me.Here's another pic I did with this model a few years earlier in Vue 3.

Actually it's water in the pic with the fallen one,it does come across somewhat as ground though,anyway it was just one of the materials in Vue 4 in the water section.
