Started this car yesterday and I think it's turning out pretty good..

The only thing I don't really like is the rendering.

It's made in maya and rendered with mentalray, and it's in a very early stage.. ^^

i agree it looks cool only the head lights matiarial looks kinda weird but i dont now how the look like in real life but i must i do like the render i think it looks rather cool this way

Like your choice of car. The best looking ferrari. I did also one in 3d max. Your model looks very good so far.

mate this is my favorite car too, the first one i like is testarosa and this 250 GTO :D, luv it... :D ermm... mate somehow the headlight looks not circle i dunno maybe because the renders... well good luck mate :D, im waiting yer next update

Yes.. thanks for your critics.. I saw that too when I rendered and it sure does look wierd :p I've fixed it so it looks ok on this update :)

Thanks mate.. I'm thinking about modelling the interior too.. the question is if I ever will have the patience :p

The rendering is rendered in mentalray and the material is just a blinn with red color, then I have put a couple of planes with a surface shader colored white over the car and around the front of the car.. I can post an image if you'd like to..?

lol...,jst try it mate, take it slow dont take in hurry, my first try i go fast and hurry, the result looks bad thats what happen to me lol....now i try work slow for my first interior mate and yes the result its looks more better now.(as you can see my thread so many image ive been post lol)
i kno u can model those interior and yes u have great skill than i do mate, im serious...:D

Xtreme™ : yes, thanks for your help.. never thought of it that way before :p I've only worked pretty fast and you're right. The result usually isn't stunning. An I saw in your thread, that car looks awesome, you've got some serious skills man! :)
no, unfortunatly I use maya, But I think there is some sort of tutorial for the method I use already, I saw the link in Marks Ferrari thread. Thanks again, and good luck with your car.

Your car looks amazing. No crits from me.
I am trying to learn Maya and modeling a car, can you help a guy out by referencing some good tutorials please, I would appreciate it.
