View Full Version : Ferrari 250 GTO W.I.P
Started this car yesterday and I think it's turning out pretty good..
The only thing I don't really like is the rendering.
It's made in maya and rendered with mentalray, and it's in a very early stage.. ^^

Like your choice of car. The best looking ferrari. I did also one in 3d max. Your model looks very good so far.
Thank you very much :)
Aza : Thank you, I'll change the headlight material and maybe add a headlight texture too..
Mark : Thanks, I totaly agree with you, this is the best looking ferrari. Yes, actually it was your thread that inspired me :) So Thanks.

as usual mate, luv yer GTO :D no crits frm me.... i like yer render, how do u do that mate?
--- cheers ---
Thanks mate.. I'm thinking about modelling the interior too.. the question is if I ever will have the patience :p
The rendering is rendered in mentalray and the material is just a blinn with red color, then I have put a couple of planes with a surface shader colored white over the car and around the front of the car.. I can post an image if you'd like to..?
