What kind of texture is this?

Hey guys,
at the http://www.flashlevel.com/downloads/extras/fl3_wp2.jpg picture there is a logo in the middel of a glass and i wonder what kind of texture is that? look like a concrete looking one. Any idea on what it is and how i can make it?

well, very nice image btw, but it seems more a somekind of plastoid rather then concrete...
