fuzzy renders..

Yo all,

Just got started with 3DS Max 7. Followed a couple of tutorials which have turned out pretty well. Basically, my problem is to do with my renders. As you can see below on the attached image, the edges of my renders seem to look a bit fuzzy at the edges. Anyone know of a way to fix that? Possibly a setting with the render? Or do I just need to sharpen it with Photoshop?

I'm not sure, but it could be that you render your jpg's with a high smooth setting. You can control that when you're choosing what format to save as.

Hit F10 and go to the Raytracer tab; you'll see something like this, check the box under "Global Ray Antialiaser" - Fast Adaptive Antialiaser will normally work fine.

Re-render the image after these changes.
