Hi All!

I know I have posted this once already but now the site is finished and we are officially launching so anyone with any skating interest may want to check this out.

Lizard Longboards UK have launched a new site where they have an 'On-line Custom Longboard Builder' where the user selects the deck length, grip tape style, designs, colours and components and sees the longboard build up in front of them in their browser. There are over 10,000 combinations allowing the user to tweak and tune their own setup and look in minutes. This online service is for anyone whether you are interested in buying a board or just want to have fun designing one on-line.

Longboarding is a growing sport in the UK offering many riding styles such as downhill, slalom, carving, sliding, tricks and just plain cruising round town. The sport seems to have a more mellow feel than shortboard skating often attracting the older rider. Quiet roads and long hills are often make the best venues but the 'in town' scene is growing fast too with longboards offering a great way to cruise around.

Here are a couple of pictures of built boards and a screen grab of the 'on-line custom board builder' Hope you have a minute to check it out www.lizardlongboards.com we are very keen to receive any feedback.

Thanks and happy boarding!

ps if you know anyone into skating then please let them know too!

The sites looking great - some cool looking products and sweet layout. I'm quite tempted to get one of those boards sometime.....regular skateboarding has taken it's toll on my ankles.

I took the liberty of adding a location to the HotSpot section - the only trouble was that my description seems to have been cut short by a few sentences :p altho it still makes sense without the extra info, so no worries

out of interest - is that your photo in the gallery? or a different Tom?
