I am really struggeling on mapping my face on my model I made. It is a self portrait in 3ds max for a organic modeling class.

I have heard of many ways to approach this but I was wondering if any of u have any ideas. I know that u can uvw un rap it and paint over a streched face in photoshop ect. But I was thinking there has to be a easier way. I have pics of myself from the frnt back side ect can't i map them on my head some how???? If u have any ideas on how to solve this or anything that will help please post below

Through photographs..
hmm there is no easy way when it comes to modeling a human head and photo texturing it... what so ever.
There are though softwares such as FaceGen or FaceStation.. Or I think Poser5 or Avatar Lab.. (I am not sure exactly) that literally do it for you.

But what you CAN do is model the head using the front and side views, and then once you are done with it:
You can project the image as texture instead this time.
First for the front and next for the side (Or Sides), exporting them each time.

And then in a Photo-editing software just overlay the two images and blend/erase the diffrences, use the stamp tool or ready character textures to get the inbetween trhesholds.
Just make sure you keep the 'texture part of it going.

You may have to do alot of trial and eor by applying the texture and not liking some part of it. But well could get fun :)

Hope this gives you an idea
