First, we are dealing with the image of snowboarder in the action of making a hard turn in deep powder throwing up a huge roost. Second, we want to incorporate the idea of the screaming face (thats our logo)into each of our designs, so in this case, we are looking to have the morphed and shadowy screaming faces in the snow that is being thrown up by the snowboarder. A major factor to keep in mind is that the images should be predominantly red and black, like the logo art. Also keep in mind that this image will be put on the back of a black shirt, so working with a black background would probably be a good idea.
Since you are dealing with only two colors, we are in essence looking for a shadowy type of image. Our designs need to capture the inherent risk of the sport, the passion of the athletes and the intensity of the adrenaline sports. If there are any more particular details that I can offer some guidance, then let me know.
