Hello everybody. I am in need of some help with this project I am currently working on. What it is, is a name tag but its supposed to be like a plastic one (not paper - this is important Im assuming when it comes to animating). Waht I want the name tag to do is fall from up high then fall to the bottom and land like a realistic tag would do but like I said Im trying to make it plastic so it should bounce a bit (Ive been dropping a credit card around and looking at how it falls and I found that it bounces when dropped on an angle). I know exactly what I want it to look like I just am not sure how to do it. Any help would be awesome!

note* I have attached some images of what my current scene looks like (its pretty rough I think but Im still kind of new to 3dsmax)

image 1: This is where the image starts off - http://img64.exs.cx/img64/6111/tagstart5cz.jpg

image 2: This is where it ends up - http://img64.exs.cx/img64/2065/tagend9yz.jpg

of coruse in the final version the tag would be set at different angles and whatnot.

one more thing: I would really like to know how to zoom in on an object in an animation.

Thanks for your help guys/gals!

Are you at all familiar with keyframing? Attached is a 1 second animation I just threw together for you, using keyframes, to ask if this is what you had in mind.

yes that is pretty much what I had in mind only thing is that Im going to have it bounce around a bit more.
So how did you do this? keyframe?

This is what I want to happen:

1. The tag is sitting on the edge of a desk
2. It wobbles then starts to fall off
3. As its going towards the ground it would go sort of slow motion with some sort of blur (like in cartoons when lets say something fragile is falling and the character is going to catch it and its all slow motion and choppy like)
4. Right as it hits the ground it goes back to normal speed and bounces around a tad

I have absoultly no clue how to do this but you Im sure you can help :) thanks.
