Just finished setting up a rig for my character, and now it is really to be skined. Now should I be applying the skin with the character in Edit poly mode or MeshSmooth?
3D Max is the software of choice :smug:

hmm, i dont understand you question, but my stack would look like this:

Meshsmooth
Skin
Edit Mesh
Morpher
Unwrap UVW
Ediatable Poly

if you didnt animate the head, delete the morpher and edit mesh modifer from the list ;)

Olli96, I have one more question.
The skinning is coming along great, it takes alot of patience adjusting the weight on the vertics. My question is what do I do with the clothes that are not apart of the main mesh(body) do I attach them to the body or keep them as their own mesh and skin them to the bones, at the moment I have only skinned the body.
Here is the character:

if you want to simulate the cloth with reactor, cloth fx or simcloth, dont attach them. otherwise i would attach them.
