Junior 3D graphics artists wanted by Cambridge, UK based JAGEX Ltd, operator of online game RuneScape, to start immediately.
Required skills:
- 3D modeling skills - knowledge of Blender useful. Should have an understanding of modeling, animation, lighting, rendering.
- Low polygon modeling - must have experience of creating low-polygon count models, and working with maximum size/complexity
limitations.
- Animation skills - knowledge of basic animation techniques, e.g. timing, key frames, rigging skeletons, mesh deformation etc.
- 2D skills - knowledge of paint shop 5 or above, or similar paint package, 2D texture skills would be extremely helpful, and also an understanding of application of textures to meshes.
Candidates must be able to show examples of previous work. Industry experience an advantage but not essential. CANDIDATES MUST BE LEGALLY ABLE TO WORK IN CAMBRIDGE, UK.
Salary: £16-21k depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits.
