Take shierdans

Animation program 4 years they teach you classic and computer so you will be well equiped

if you want to do it faster go to seneca collage they have a kick ass program i think its beter than sherians (cheaper too)
sheridan

to get into either programs you will need to put togather a portfolio if you are really serious these guys can help you put togather a kick ass portfolio

www.animationportfolioworkshop.com

im one of thier students going to seneca this december for animation

dont choose sheridan just becuse of thier personality
take tours and find out as much as you can about both programs

It all depends on what you want to do with animation i mean why do you want to do it.
If you really like it and want to make a career its really good to have all the skills you need for todays industry.

1. they will not teach you a lot of drawing in animation school at least i dont think so its really good to have a good knowledge and as much practise as you can in drawing before going to animation school
2. so when you get into animation school you alrady know drawing and you can spend you time learning actully animation, and the 3d animation software, modeling, texture, and so on.

schools.

if you relly want to do this you have to do some research on your own its really a personal thingn and you want to get your money worth.

i think
rignling is a good animation school
there are a couple of good school in canada also and one is quiet cheap also

Secneca
Sheridan
i wouldnt recomend
Acadmey of design

there are also online toutorial and some trainging site or there are some private institution that will teach you the basic software and some animation

you can also study on your own there are plenty of books and lots of form like this one where people can review you work and cirtiqe it and give you feed back

do what you Love
Animation
