Western Revenge: RECRUITING

Please note that its not payed, and its only done for fun, passion, friendships and stuff Me and a hole team are working on a mod for Half Life 2 named: Western Revenge. I was given the task, to make the intro movie for this game. I was also asked, to recruite new members who could help me with this. The intro will be around 40 to 60 seconds.

We are searching for any skilled people in modeling (mainly organic for characters, but inorganic is fine to, you'll be a great help), texturing, lighting, animating, rendering, mattepainting, and post production. If you have any intrest, for this mod, you could make out part of this number one leading mod in Western Genre for Half Life 2.

We are now gaining publicity very fast, and we will be reviewed in the next Dutch 'PC Gameplay'. You will be named in the credits of this Mod. You are automaticly beta tester of this Mod, you can play this earlier then anyone else.

Introduction

Western Revenge is a total conversion, multiplayer first person shooter for Half-Life 2. It features the classic battle between criminals and justice in a western style. We developed new modes featuring interesting gameplay and loads of action. Outlaw and lawman fight eachother in a range of typical but varied western scenes, ranging from a quiet slumbering town, the bandit's stronghold to a fort in the desert. Featuring everybody's favorite western weapons, locations and characters, combined with great gameplay and lots of action. Western Revenge will rock!

Recruitment

Western Revenge needs fresh blood to reinforce and complete the team. We already have a lot of talented people, but there always is a thirst for more. We are mainly on the lookout for skinners and modelers, but mappers, coders or any other people with the right skills are also appreciated. Keep in mind we search for experienced people who know what they are doing. We are a development team, not a personal training class.

Positions wanted

Skinner - You can create textures with the "right" western feeling, skin clothing and/or are able to design and create skins for various models.
Modeler - You can create human models, weapons, equipment and/or other wester themed objects. The biggest amount of models we now need, are western objects and commen objects, such as chairs, bottles and other "decorations", since we yet have a part of the weapons.
Mapper - You have a good understand of hammer and you know how to create exciting, balanced, interactive levels.

You are free to send an application, no matter what you want to do for Western Revenge, as long as you think we can actually use your talent. Again, we only search expierienced people. Before accepting you, we will be asking about previous experience and examples of previous work. There is quite a lot of work to do, but we have also made a lot of progress, since we have been developing for over a year. We intend to have the first alpha version done in a few weeks. Possibly the end of april or mai.
