big 3ds max file

my files are massive when i do simple things and my comp cant take it even tho i got good grafics card windows xp pentium 4 help plz.i think its because i need to collapse the stack but i dont know how to do that :crazy:

What do you call massive? I've got files like in the 'big' attachment, and my comp. can still handle it. Offcourse, yours can allways be bigger, but not with simple things :)

As for collapsing the stack, check the second attachment :)

Hi, if you're working on large projects, it's always good to save a different file each time you save, when you're on the save as... dialogue box, there should be a + button, if you press it it will save the file as the name you gave it, with 01, 02, 03, 04 next to it automatically, this will keep each file small while letting you go back to previous steps of you're work incase something happens to your most recent files. All the files will be small and you should be able to work on them.
