View Full Version : FPS Need very good low-poly modelers

I am the leader of the new team,Purple Monkey Inc..I need some modelers. Look here (http://www.purplemonkeyinc.bravehost.com) to see the detail level of the models you'd be making(For the first game). You would be doing it as volunteer work, but you might be paid a percent of the profit from the game.The models would be of buildings, vehicles, people, and all the other stuff. I have a list of models needed.

The plans are as follows:

Joey "The Giant" Trenti:

Joey is an ex-contract killer. He is a teacher. He just wants peace.

Plot:

Wife and children are taken by the Mob. They want him to go back in business and do a couple jobs free of charge. After the “Jobs” are completed they say thanks and shoot his wife and his children and he couldn’t do anything about it because he is hearing it over the phone. “What are you gon’a do. No one screws with the Mob (laugh).” the don says. He gets very angry after crying for 15 seconds on the phone. The car doors lock. The driver reaches into his shirt and grabs his gun. Before he can shoot Bill pulls out his 9mm and puts a cap in the drivers head and jumps out the window. He lands and he puts the phone back to his head and says in a low deep voice, “You’ll pay.” Next, Joey takes out Mob leader after Mob leader until you get to the don. He lives in a large mansion which you storm from the sewers. When you win he looks at the dons dead body and says, “No one screws with Joey "The Giant" Trenti.” Then he walks away without looking back.

Graphics:

As realistic as possible to run on the engine. The engine probably will run with a maximum poly count of 50,000(just a guess,I am using irrlicht)



Lead Characters---Joey,Vince DiMarco(mob leader),Dino Bianchi(second in comand),Janice(Joey's wife),cloe(Joey's daughter),John(Joey's best friend that helps in the first mission where you learn the controls)
Enviroments---the city for most of the levels and a couple in the woods
Weapons---uzis,pistols,revolvers,rocket launchers,knives,ect.
features---like what
poly count---approximately 1000 per object not including the world. As low as you can have them and still look good.

Please understand this is a game from scratch not a mod!

you have nothing to show, no story, no nothing...

This should be called "The Gataway - 1/2' Sounds pretty cool dude, but I tihnk people need more info, like features, is it 3rd person or first person (could you switch back and forth)

Also, I don't think you should expect gettingf [ro's or anything as well :dance:

The link to my homepage is in the first post. It doesn't show mcuh there though. The game is 3rd and 1st person(switching). What did you mean when you said f[ro's. Why would you call it the getaway 1/2? What else is there that people need to know?

Because the story kinda matchs each other, not in like... a PERFECT way, but it certinaly reminded me a lot about the getaway... and that 1/2 was just saying like (1 and a half) saying that its not 100% getaway, but its close... kinda deal.

What else is there to know about.. hmmm...

*sigh* another mod that wont see the light of day...
as m opinion i think that when someone starts a mod and realeses it to public they should at least have the concepts and the plot ready, as well as defined polycount, what type of chars and textures planned...

oh well, i wish you good luck but i gotta say that this project didnt catch my eye , you should look into it as none will also.

what are you people expecting from us?
do you really thing that some dicription lines of your project will get us on your side?
you';re totally wrong.

getting good 3d artists of your projects is a piece of art like 3d art it self.

so tell me why we should help you?

maybe i'm rude, but i don't care since 99% of all requests to help on non payed projects are the same, like this one.
