for real man, dude looks dope. i think u should give him a long soul patch, goatee type thing. keep it up!
here's a little update, not much though...
used lighttracer for it, i think hes becoming a devil with two big horns and a goatee ^^ if i get it done right (have shag hair but nor much expierience)
texturing will follow in the next days, when the mesh is finished, perhaps i'll also model a body for him but not sure (as i said, im bad at organic modeling/never tried it much)

Nice character, i wish i could draw like that. Would make my modeling a lot more easy.

Looks to me that you do a very good job then :D. Keep the pics commin.
Very Nice... How do u add wrinkles plz as i always have trouble (in my like total of 4 attempts)
thx all! try to update tomorrow
hilm, there are different methods, cause i work by cloning edges like in the jean d'arc tutorial i simply clone the edges there i want wrinkles and pull them outwards, the same can be made in a finished model by chamfering one or two times and also pulling out the vertexes. look at the wireframe, there is a small band of polys for the wrinkles (i could post a close up if you want to). hope this helps, excuse my english i'm from germany

its pretty good but i have a crit... i think the wrinkles are too "sharp" soften them up a bit, the relax modifier would help i think.
nice modeling! waiting for more updates ..keep it up

Hello m4d3
I didnt know that you are a master in this business :) I like what you did here, and am even learning from you, I wish I could do such a clean model! good work.
hmm is not so clean as it seems, have some probs right now, will go on with work tomorrow after having a lazy day today :)
thx @ all for crits and comments
ill smooth the wrinkles a bit
heres a little update, havent done much last days, was busy with another project, but just wanted to show it, think hes gettin lot more spikes in contrast to the smooth surfaces, im already working at the horns too

wire ?
nearly the same as before, dont think i gotta post it...
some critical comments would be nice, in my opinion i still have to change a lot things, like the lips for example.
mhhh im getting tired of this model, but it was a good training for me
i think ill texture it now, the horns and some other details still have to be changed...
here is my work so far

looks great... maybe some ridges on the forehead would make him a bit more demon like... something like what yoda has on his forehead
ps. i like the beauty spots
im working on the bump map right now, never did this before so its really hard getting it done right, painting the wrinkles in photoshop is really embarassing, if anyone knows good tuts or a good way of doing this it would be nice if he could post it here.
i also tried out some subsurfacescattering but it isnt finished yet, im working by try and error :)
Hi, im rebuilding the model right now, here are some pics:

Id tried to improve the polyflow, sss was just for fun, will do real mapping with zbrush when the model is finished

Thats very cool :) hes looking very nasty. Im wondering what settings you used for that red material. Do you mind sharing them? Btw, i dont know if you look for it, but so far it looks very plastic, like some action figure or something.
