Lofting totally went for a **** on me, so I decide to use the extrude along spline tool. After I did this operation my gizmo started well, being weird :xyz:
Every vertice would have the gizmo pointing a different way... I select one here, its different from the one over there...it doesn't operate on the world xyz axis's.
Also , my bounding box is crooked...This has caused problems here and there all over the place. Any help would be grand(:

First off, it sounds like you've switched to local space... which would explain vertex axis pointing in seemingly random direction...at the top middle of the screen there is a pull down menu where you select the space you're working in, set it to 'World' or 'View'. As for the bounding box being crooked, there are a few tricks to fix that... here's what I'd do : first, convert the object to an editable poly. Next, create a box or something (any primitive, it doesn't matter) and convert it to an editable poly as well...now attach the first object to this newly created box and then detach it again. This will reset the objects bounding box to the same as the one you attached it to...its also good for reseting non-uniform Scaling, which will cause more problems than a crooked bounding box.
