I'm confused here! Most tutorials i'm seen on this topic uses only heads but how am i supposed to attach it to a body for animation? Please dont tell me i have to do the different types of expressions with the body already attached. :wall:I'm using 3ds max 7.

U could detach the head, just do the morph animatin for the head model. After finish rigging the head, u could link the neck control to the spine control of the body. So when the body bends down, the head model will follow too. (or u can morph the whole complete model if u don't want to detach the head)

If u have lower polygon count model, then u could use XForm modifier/FFD modifier, select the vertices, apply the modifier, then animate the selection.

Thanks alot butthis is quite dissapointing to know.Is there any plugin that can help me out.Or can i make a suggestion to software maker? I won't mind a morph tool which allows users select the verts they want to morph so we can just select the head and morph it alone. Another thing is it possible to apple skin or physiqe to the morphing char?
