I though that I post this one houre before but I can't see the post :S If I repeat the post then remove this jeje

I create the scene with 3ds max & vray and represents the stairway that go to the higher part of the higher tower xD. I make this for experiment with the light and the bump mapping.

an interesting concept but the picture is too dark and the sky is missing outside.

jeje It's dark because it's an old tower and it's the night (for this I don't put a sky). Well, I made another render with a blue sky and more light, now it's the morning xD.

now i think the light that hits the frame of the window is too blue. perhaps for an added effect you could add a could or part of a cloud in front of the bars.

Nice, that actually looks like how the stairs to a tower bedroom scene I modeled awhile back should look. Yours is much nicer.

Suggestion. If you want to do a night scene, try adding some torches or antique gaslamps to the scene. Get three or four of those in there, and you'll be able to see details without killing the night effect. Twas but a thought.

i thik its nice exept the bricks on the side of the window are teeny tiny while the ones on the whole tower are much larger. i suggest expanding the uvw map on width more.

looks exactly like something i made, tips?

use allot of GI to light it up and make the outdoor light a bit stronger, that should make it a whole lot better, good luck it looks nice so far

You could add a volume light shining through the bars... It will look awesome in your scene. Just tweak the shadows and density and make sure the light has attenuation on, so by the time it reaches the wall it is nearly invisible. ;P Cheers!

Thx for the replies, I try to make the volume light, may be it's not the best but I never maked a volume light, I touch the attenuation and all this parametres and the ones for the noise . I expand a little the uvw map for make more big the texture of the window. I thought to put the antorch in the night scene but I don't have more space in the tower, and i'm too lazy for make the scene more large xD
