subcrocodile - cool looking scene. Are the three 'lights' charging the object in the middle or just spot lighting it? good work.

3Dvirus you should edit your post quick and change that image to one that has both the model and wireframe in one picture. Not too much time left

neat little car. Not bad for working with an unfamilar program.
Firefly
Nice details on the headgear. Out of curiousity, how do the straps fasten?
RideStowe
Great pirate character. Good job.
Evil-98
wow. lots of stuff going on in that one. Nice machinery.
kenkuru
Thanks for the comment
hammering3d
Very well done tennis racket. Way to go.
Antievo
I don't think max takes .eps files. Only .ai in illustrator 8 format. Try converting to that, then import into max. Not really sure if that would work well however.
Shamrock
HOWDY! Thanks for the comments. I'm just down the road a bit west from you (3 hours lol) Main employment right now is as a teacher for a technical college. Teach video, photography and portfolio development classes (among others). Have'n a blast. :)
Andoy
It's about time! Anxious to have you back in the challenges.
subcrocodile
Very ambitious. Nice job.
3Dvirus
Welcome to the forums! Nice little avatar you have going. As suggested by Trimyr, edit the image post so you have only one image with the wireframe and render together. Just look to the others posts here for examples.
smallpiece
Nice concept. Glad to have you back.

Firefly Nice details on the headgear. Out of curiousity, how do the straps fasten?
Well I actually rendered out the wrong side. If you look in the wire, you will see the Chin strap (Bottom) has a snap button. Thanks by the by

Hope its alright :)
Hammering3d- i like the racket, it's cool how u did the net thingy,
wudn't have thought of that.
Subcrocodile- really cool scene, dont know whats going on tho, r
those mechanical things just lighting the object in the middle?
3Dvirus- nice first one, keep at it
Smallpiece- looks good, i like the render- what is it?
Old_Nick- thats cool, looks a bit like lego- is it something or abstract?
It would make a cool lookin avatar
Capt. Underpants- hehehe, had to look at them for a while, but now i kno and its funny, could do with some randomisation, but good for a start:)
Betasoft- Nice avatar there, i really like the textures although some
could maybe do with a higher resolution or more smoothing?
Funky Bunnies- haha, really nice clean (i think :)) model there
Frozen Spirit- Really cool, cudnt figure out what it was at first, nice
and simple, the ice shader is good and so is the shader for the middle thingy!
Clamps- Great, the outside of the clock could have done with a little more smoothing, but im nitpicking ;P. Love the render.
Thought Forms- like the concept, wouldnt mind having something like that, hehe
Fastrak- amazing models and renders, where do u get all the time to do
them? haha.
Ok got a bit carried away there:)
Heres mine-
Modelling- 30mins
Texturing-30mins
Render- 15mins
Software- MaYa
Funky Bunnies, Nice subliminal message in your collage.

you`re joking right??? there are 10 weeks already which haven't been judged yet!! and this is only 7th - there are 6 weeks before this which will be judged!!! Hope you got the point!! ;) and you should read more through the posts and the latest weeks to understand the situation!!

i dont know why they take so long to judge, its only reall a fun competition anyway, its not like theres a serious prize or anything.

Good Question Betasoft... (whose post mysteriously disappeared as I was typing this response.)
The answer is... wait for it.... wait for it.....
Soon! :D
Yeah, I've actually been going through this week's entries since last night. There are still a few loose ends to tie up for a few previous weeks... but I'm hard at work on them. As soon as I'm done, they go straight to Andy for a final look over and then... BAM! He'll post the results and we move on to the next week!
Thanks everyone for their patience!!! :D
