I have noticed for a while now that animated features are aimed at child audiences and very little for the adult viewers, so i decided i wanted to do a short animated horror feature. I have some ideas and storyboards already sketched and was looking for help with this project, maybe even an online collaboration group, If your interested and have ideas i would like to hear them so please email me Thank You.

Could you maby post the story you have so far, or the one you came up with?
That might get others started :D

As its an animated feature my budget and time is short, so im going for a 5 to 10 minute feature. My storyboard and plot lines i will be posting very soon, also i would love to hear what scares you so please post your FEAR!!

Thanx

I've always found the monster in the unknown to be the scariest thing. With the more technology films have available to them, a lot of directors have given in to actually showing the beasty on screen, but I have always found the minimalistic approach to be the most frightening. It's more difficult to do in the long run, since it requires a greater respect of film and editing, but in the end the payoff is better as it leaves the audiance prey to their own fears.

It's tricky to do in a short animation, but I'd really try for the minimalistic approach. In an age where people have seen pretty much everthing, the best way to scare them now is to show them nothign.
