DESIGNER
Our client is one of the largest independent developers in the UK. Due to an exciting new project they are now urgently looking for a talented and creative Designer for their South Coast office. The successful candidate will be working alongside other designers and responsible for contributing to all the game design. This is a permanent position and the salary range is £20,000 - £28,000.
Skills required include:
Previous knowledge/experience of game design
Experience of working with licensed properties is beneficial
Must have a good understanding of design ethics what motivates players, what does and doesnt work in game design.
Enthusiasm and knowledge of video games in general
Manage time and resources in a well-organised and structured manner
Able to think creatively, to confidently sell ideas and work within tight deadlines
Should be good at presenting their ideas clearly, concisely with enthusiasm
Needs to be able to work effectively with other company employees by getting their input.
Will be thorough in their approach to problem solving and able to function independently when required
Ability to fit into a dynamic and creative team environment
A willingness and ability to learn is essential
