modeled in Maya. i changed my way of modeling from box to face by face. I just like it better and it seems to be a more accurate way of modeling versus making a bunch of confusing cuts.
just my preference, critques welcome.

Here's an update. Tweaked a couple of things...added legs, and hands.

The forehead extrudes too much... For women, their brow is more smooth.

Can we see wires of the body?

Perhaps it's just me, but it seems that her legs are a little short.

Overall this is looking very nice. I think the legs do look a little short but it could be the angle of the render. You should also give the feet somemore attention becasue they look a little square. Besides that it looks very nice.

thanks bradjames, I'm positive that the legs are the right length, but you're right about the feet needing more work. I think the heels are the boxy area.

I think the heels are the boxy area.

Everyone is different, some women have foreheads like that. It's nice to see someone modeling a 'real' woman and not a stick 'model'. Good job, the legs are perfect, they look short because shes a bit bigger guys.

I think you should make her belly a little bigger as her hips are pretty big :lurve:

i reckon she is hot, the legs look short cause she is standing flat footed, personally i think she has got good proportions, sweet model name_less

Looks quite nice man, just looking at the ankles kind of big and thick.

Nice looking!
But I think the breasts and the bottom of the ribcage are too high. I guess the breasts can be that high if you want them to look fake, but the ribcage definitely needs to come down.

Hey thanks for the crits everyone! Sorry it took me so long to respond. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HECK IS UP WITH ME! I start modeling something, I think it's looking good and I get a feeling of I know my next model is going to be way better than this one. I just lose all interest in finishing a model when I have that feeling.
Where's the Dr. Phil for character modelers?

I think the angle of view is making the legs look a bit short.
