CG SUPERVISOR

Our client is a well established high profile video game developer based around London, who specialise in the creation of AAA video games based on original and licensed properties on a variety of genres and platforms. Due to an exciting new project they are now urgently looking for a talented and creative CG Supervisor with a strong artistic skill base. Candidates can be from either Art, Design, Mathematics, Engineering or Science backgrounds; however they must demonstrate a comfort level in working with both "art and science".

The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of technologies including compression, computer/game hardware, particle systems, character skeletons, image manipulations tools, experience with scripting languages, inverse and forward kinematics, motion capture systems and shader systems. You will be responsible for developing, researching and implementing new techniques and methodologies into production pipelines. Responsibilities include conducting reviews and advising Sr. Production staff of any pipeline concerns and proactively designing effective solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with designing and building CG pipelines on at least 7-10 successful films/games (includes shipping on time)
- History of proactively mentoring and growing Technical Art staff
- Expert understanding of all major CG systems and production practices
and ability to work with MC data, most command line systems, image manipulation and creation tools and an excellent understanding of pre-production as it relates to the games industry.
