Howdy people,

I'm looking for a little help, I've being creating digital artwork for quite a few years now and i still seem to be having a little trouble breaking the industry. I think one of my greatest strengths just happens to be my biggest weakness, the ability to work in various styles.
So i was wondering if someone could take a second to look over my portfolio, i need to pick out a style that i can build on, one that has commercial prospects. I've being looking and i just can't seem to see anything, probaby because i'm too close to my own work. I'm sure there's one or two pieces on my site that i could build into a style of my own, but that's where i need your help 8-)

hope you can help,

~ Dave.

I think the problem with your work is not the work itself, but the way it has been presented. Your website is killing you IMO.

What you need to do is work on a collection of web-pages that represent the various styles you have.

For example:

3D
Photography/3D Manipulation
3D/2D Cartoon
Graphic Design

Get all of your work arranged into a neater collective; images of similar styles would easier to browse through because we will have an idea of what to expect. Right now, we are overwhelmed by many styles. As such, there is no cohesion to your work; it's a big mess! The seperate pages should be representative of your styles (you can always super-impose some of the existing images into the background).

In essence, your website should be as much a work of art as the art it contains. Right now there's been little thought put into it. Make it original and neat, and probably a little whacky, and you shouldn't go too wrong.

Cheers.

Hey cheers people, i've had quite a bit of feedback in regards to the site itself so today i'm going to begin working on a new site. I'll keep you updated on concepts etc, so then you can let me know what works and what doesn't etc ...

cheer again ~ Dave.
