Hello all, I am hoping to build a new computer soon and I really like modeling so I want to get hardware that is going to be good for it.
Right now I am running a:
1.8Ghz Athlon 64
Asus A8V-Delux
1 gig of PC 3200 RAM
ATI Radeon 9000 All-in-wonder video card
550 watt power supply.
Anyways, I do car models and once my car has wheels and tires it gets choppy. When I zoom in for instance it takes 5-10 seconds to perform the operation.
I am curious as to what hardware set up other people have, especially those that have smooth operations on a complicated model.
