My client are currently developing one of - if not the most - hotly anticipated PS3 titles of the moment. They are an incredibly ambitious, professional and friendly outfit that offers a good package including a bonus scheme, profit-sharing, health care, pension and reasonable working hours.
They are looking to hire an SFX / Shading / Lighting artist. This role is very specialist and as such they expect to recruit for this role specifically from the post prod/feature film industry. To be considered for this role you should have a minimum of 3 years experience lighting on CG Production; experience in traditional cinematography is a major asset. Strong understanding of light, colour, compositing and mood. Experience with real-time shading technique (CGFX / HLSL) and image based lighting would make the successful candidate stand out from the crowd. Knowledge of Maya is preferable. The ability to translate creative direction into innovative and smart technical solutions Strong team orientation and excellent communication skills
Professional experience in the game and/or 3D industries is essential
Experience with one or several major 3D packages is essential. Familiar with post processing, offline rendering techniques and realtime methods. Strong 3D animation skills and good knowledge of advanced particles setup is absolutely vital.
Location: UK (East Anglia)
