Hi
Im playing in 3D somethink like 2 weeks and ive done my first car :dance: Its a VW Golf 5 (2 days of work). Still have to do somethings like mirrors, that line on center of car, windows and others.

My serwer is down and the picture is gone. Hers the picture on other serwer with some updates. I used Cinema 4D R9

wow, pretty nice for some1 who started 2 weeks ago with 3d... :)

BUT, i can see some pinches and bumps troughout the whole mesh. If you want some real crits on the modeling, i suggest you post a simple clayrender, and a low poly wireframe. There are many good car modelers here, who can give you good suggestions and tips on cleaning up your modeling :)

keep it up, and keep on practasing, youve got the potential :)

can you give a little tut on your material, i'm making a car but i can't see a good render of it cause my paints suck, thanks man

use the shader called "danel" and adjust the diffuse color to the color you want it to be and the speculars accordingly, you'll get results like on my WIP.

On my paint thers only color, reflection (brightnes 27%) and specular (width 76%, height 61%, falloff 3%, inner width 0%)

danel is a special material in cinema 4d, believe me, it's awesome... try it with different settings (diffuse is the main or base color) and the speculars can be looked at as "wax" on the paint (there's 3 speculars in danel).
