Hi all, I am wrapping up my demo reel that is aimed at an animation gig at a video game company and I have a question seeking advice. The clips that I have in there really only show animation on unfinished scenes, and by unfinished I mean that the textures, lighting, and modeling are pretty rough, but the animation is pretty refined. Is this ok? The position is of a basic animator, not Junior, not Senior. What do you think?

If the textures are not good then replace them with a gray matte material. Do not worry much about the lighting either. Make sure the animation i good and let them know that is where you want to be.

thanks for the suggestion. I figured that was the case. The job is specifically of an animator, and the company doesn't use the term to describe the guy who does all of the 3d stuff as in some cases. When I get it online perhaps I'll post it for advice and critique.
