ok here is a shot of the hair done in alpha plains. Honestly i dont like it much at all and im gonna stick with my original.. its more fitting for a robotic character. Also i thought ditching the original hair would free up some triangles but unfortunately the count ended up the same. I would have liked to go back and add a few segments to the forarm but thats not gonna happen due to the fact that my tris are all exhausted =( Oh well live and learn this is my first lowpolly model. Anyhow thoughts on the hair I hope most agree with me

Looking really nice, Nosja. My only real crits are stylistic ones, the modeling is very well done.

I'd recommend that you don't bother with the clay renders, as they can sometimes conceal mistakes that would otherwise be quite obvious. They're nice for presentations, but there's no need to fool people that are trying to help you. Just a few screengrabs that show the wire and the shaded model usually make it easier to identify and fix problems.

ya the alpha hair turned out alright.. problem is i wanted the hair straight and spikey....however when you rotate the model you can see right down to the scalp and it looks weird. Would have worked much better if the hair had a bend to it but that looked dumb and didnt fit the model...so i think im goin with the original hair. But i dunno though....bah.. who knows what im going to do..LOL

Very good model...very proffesional...and as you posted on the challenge thread...how the concept looks is a very important part ;).

Awesome job overall...poly's were used VERY well.

its awesome to see a new section on a low poly comp!

Yeah, this looks really brilliant. I love the idea too, though I doubt we'll see this one on megaman too soon ;) There's something about putting chicks on meat-hooks that just doesn't fill Nintendo with pleasure. Well done on a job well done! :D

Megaman Is a capcom made game that just appeared on the nintendo which they moved to Playstation althought Nintendo doesnt like girls on a meat hook playstation does really cared althought nintendo nor playstation has that much say so on what the game is going to be like im sure if megaman got all grim and punk rock like prince of perisa did your model would be a shoe in IMHO

Awesome, nice work Nosaj! The textures are great, I really like the color choices that you made. You also managed to do some photosourcing while still keeping a hand-painted look.

Congrats, nice entry.
