View Full Version : Speed Modelling Challenge 67 - Shaver

Pages : [1] 2

The rules are simple

1, Each week we'll post a subject for you to model along with a time limit on how long you should spend on it. Spend no longer than the allocated time then post a render of your model. No cheating, we are relying on your honesty here and the idea of speed modelling is to simulate a "real world" environment. If you are working on a project and asked to show a concept model you'll need to be able to get somewhere near the target in the allocated time. Your submission should be a model created especially for this challenge and not one you have stored on your hard drive.

How you interpret the brief is up to you as long as the final model conforms to what we have asked for. Any images of models that do not match the brief will be removed and the poster disqualified

2, You may enter as many times as you like as long as each model is completely new and uses no components from other entries. Entries using models which are not original will be removed and the poster disqualified

3, Your entry may contain as many views of your model as you like but it must include a clear and easy to see wire frame of the mesh before any smoothing/subdivision has been applied. Please use a screen grab. No other method is acceptable and any "wire renders" or wireframes we can't see properly will be removed and the poster disqualified

4, You must include the following details with each submission: software used and time spent creating the model. Any further information is voluntary but posts not containg the required information will be removed and the poster disqualified.

5, Post only one image submission per entry which must be no larger than 800x600 pixels in either landscape or portrait format with a file size of no more than 100k. These images must be uploaded to our servers using the "browse" button on the forum reply page. Do not link to external images Files. larger than the maximum size or posts containing links to external images (other than for reference materials) will be removed and the poster disqualified

6, time spent on rendering or texturing or building a scene in which to display your model is not included in the alocated period to allow those with slower machines to participate on an even playing field. What we are looking for is the quality of the models you can produce "under pressure". If your model is not complete, you can still post as long as it's recognizeable.

These rules apply to everybody taking part there will be NO exceptions

This weeks challenge;

Time limit - 60 minutes
Deadline - 22.00 G.M.T. Wednesday 12th of Oktober 2005
Subject - Shaver

This time we are going to allow a bit more to the concepts literal meaning.
You ARE expected to be able to visually remove hair (Facial OR body) from the individual or victom.. the fun bit is that we are not limiting it to depilation. You can epilate and depilate the hair off the body.

For those that don't know the diffrence: creams or razors physically cut the hair close to the surface (depilation) as when a SilkEpil pull's out the hair from the body (Epilation).

A simple starter that I refferenced from HERE (http://www.knifecenter.com/kc_new/store_detail.html?s=G142).
Modeled and textured in MaYA
Rendered via MentalRay

Cobraking: welcome to the competition =) Update your first post and just state how long it took to model like jutso said. Nice second entry for someone who is completely new to modelling. Keep up the good work.

Justo: hello bud, thx for the comment :D

Old_Nick: I appreciate the comment, thanks.

zor: nice, but I think your very dark shadow destroys the picture, its hard to see. I have never used maya so I dont know where to change the shadow density but in max its under shadow parameters in the settings for the light (modifier panel).

DT_art: going out easy =) try next model to model something you think you cant do in 1h and if you fail the first time you will definitly make it the second =)

Deto: thanks for your kind words, I appreciate it alot!

UrsiNMC: nice model! I think you should have some higher quality on the shadow so its not that griny. And maybe some tint of a color (not much needed) on the ground plane just to give the image a little life.

artecnl: thanks! =D

mimi01: thanks for the comment. I like your model and render. It have a girly feeling. Just dont know what your black boxes is all about, trying to hide something from me? :D

i always find i end up modelling more than i had too??
Garner: thanks alot for the comment it warms my heart ;) About the quote I dont really know what you mean. Like doing much details in one area that will never face the camera or how do you mean?

Something that I have learned by doing these challenges is how important planning your model is. If I start with a model and have not figured out how I should model some parts before I start, then I find myself more than often running out of time (maybe not on simple models). You will probably get stuck with vertex tweaking and other stuff that take valuable time that you wouldnt if you have planned the model a little better.

I recommend you all to do like I said to DT_art and try to model something that you dont think you can finish in 1h. If you fail to finish the model you havent thrown away your time because you have gained experience and will probably be able to finish the model in time on your second/third time. And then you have modelled a model in 1h that you didnt think you could do, great huh? :D

Garner
06-10-2005, 08:35 PM
@ OmegaN . LOL what i mean is i forget that smoothing can give you a nice curved edge done properly, rather than chamfering it a couple of times, or i might put more polyies in a section that simply just didnt need it in the end because the smoothing just smoothes right over it and blends it in so well. still learning the concept of smoothing and how it works things out.

Hi All!

And there is my "shaver".

Who will try it on it's face? :smug:

Dark_Sword
07-10-2005, 05:03 AM
Hetch: Curse you! I thought that up while at school today and you just happened to beat me to it!

Modeling: 25 min.
Materials: 5 min.
ID-10-T Errors: 10 min.
Lighting: Less than a minute!
Rendering: 20 min.

My "machete" ended up looking like a kitchen-knife so I put it there...

It's my first speed-model, and to be frank it's one of my first models. Eek! ph34r teh suck!

hetsch
07-10-2005, 05:58 AM
Dark_Sword: Hehe, I'm glad I beat you to it! :) I had some time to kill, so I decided to sit down and think of a cool interpretation of the theme, and when I did, a friend of mine walked in the door and simply said: "Make a ramboknife!"

I had a good time while I was making it, and learned alot during that hour! (I really have to work on my materials)

Hetch: Well, I admit yours is much better than mine. At least in my eyes. I'm still very new to 3D and having the same problems with it that I am with my guitar:

I want to be Hendrix but I only know three chords.

Not sure how you'd translate that but...

Here's another simple one from me.
Max 6

Radulan
07-10-2005, 11:32 AM
Dark Sword: No one is an expert at the beginning. Every athlete needs to exercise and practice. You must have the courage to the amateur.

Agamemnwn: I like how you did your brush, quick and to the point.

Orkron: Quite the lathe. I'm sure that if you wanted to redo it it would take half the time.

Aogor: This is very much like integrating the tool to the artist, or the weapon to the warrior. Samuri felt that the bond was so close that if he somehow broke his chopsticks while eating he would soon break his sword, and being without a sword is like not having an arm.

Orkron
07-10-2005, 12:27 PM
Radulan of course it would take me less time if I redid it...The lathe/spline took me 10 minutes going slow...the top was polymodelled and I kept restarting because I didn't like the results...So in response to your comment (at least what I assume you mean) is the reason it took so long is as I stated in my post, I wasn't feeling too inspired and was going slow and making errors I didn't like and elected to change.
Happy Modelling.

Heh, just a quick post to say all is still well since hurricane Rita decided to be a pest. Made landfall east of me so very little damage was done. Should see a model from me this week I think.

Couple of new toys on their way to me. XSI version 5 and a Spaceball 5000. Though, it's likely the shaver will be done with Rhino for now . . . . .

If any of you have ever used the Spaceball, shoot some of your opinions on it my way I'm somewhat curious how it will work out :)

andoy
07-10-2005, 11:04 PM
here goes for this weeks first entry from me,
A lot tougher than i thought really for an hour.
The Body started as a cube with verts moved and hypernurbs added, The display hole was extruded and the mesh was made editable for boolean purposes ( hence the high res wires sorry !! )
A spline was extruded and booleaned from the body, then another spline was used to cut the top part out.
Line selection was made in the display hole and edge to spline used along with sweep nurbs to get the frame for the glass part. A copy of the same spline was used for the glass part itself.
Tha actual top part was started with edge to spline and then more splines drawn and moved and lofted.
The head parts where an extruded edge to spline selection with a 3 pointed star booleaned from out.
The blade covers are simple cylinders with an array of cubes booleaned from it. Then project spline and extrudenurbs was used to get the Black on/off switch.

Modelled with C4D in 60 minutes.
Textured with basic shaders and simbiont shaders in 15 minutes.
Rendered in 1 hour 16 minutes and 10 seconds

Beautiful work, Andoy. Absolutely fantastic.

I hope to post my razor here shortly, but first I want to play around with some custom texture work in Photoshop before I post.

That, and I decided to try out 3D Studio Max 8.0, since there's that demo. This way I can see whether I'll simply end up purchasing Max instead of Maya (that, and Maya costs an arm and a leg. I can't believe my roommate's parents can afford to pay for his Maya license. Derned rich kids! :P )

mr_lemon:Thanks, i am just thinking wether to call you sweeney todd the demon barber if you are gonna shave people with that!! i am sure it's gonna hurt just a little..

mimi01:Thanks, i am just trying to keep up

Lighter: Thanks also, try downloading the 9.5 version demo of C4D also from http://www.maxon.net/ you might be suprised by it. definatly worth a try in my book. I converted from max on the strength of it's v9 demo.

But you know folks it's only everybody else's work here, that keeps pushing us onwards and upwards. So wether you are a new competitor or an old hand you are still an inspiratipon to somebody..

Thanks Radulan for the comments. it was done as a psd texture that i painted the transparency, color, bump and specularity and then twweked in photoshop again in post.

Ok Some comments about the models these week

TheWinterLord Nice model but the wire is too dence and the material u choose is reflecting the background so much you are loosing detail on the model

Radulan Very original model . Just sit down and the bot will shave u nice and fast :D. Nice model . The green background spoles the layout i think

Orkron Great modell . love the colors and the design

artecnl nice model but little bulky i think. As for the references . just google your way into finding references. That is what i did

Cobraking Good try . Been there. practice makes perfect. keep it up

zor Interesting concept and nicelly modelled. Little harse on the lighting there and it came up a little dark i think

DT_art good model. Still had 33 min to make more things for it i think.

UrsiNMCNice model. a little bulky but a nice approach.the materials you chose are bringing down the detail of you modell that we see in the wire i think

mimi01 Hi mimi, looking good :D nike starter i love the detail. keep up the good work

Cobraking looking good.learning fast :D Try to use all the time you have given.

DarthSjaak good model . Nice simple modelling and good use of materials

UrsiNMC looking better than the first one. More detailed and better use in materials. good modelling.

Yedan good modelling. still the wire colors are stealling the models from detail that u modelled

Makonde good model but the materials and wire colors are stealling the model from detail that u modelled

-R3D- Great use of textures, good render and model.I have a question about the engraving and the cut in the razor were they done with booleans? and one other about the wire. is it on the smoothed model? or this is the original number of polys u used ? congrats on the front page plug as well

adamos good model. looking good on the detail on the head of the razor :D

mr_lemon good model. like the parts

Design good model.little too dark render i think

hetsch Shaving in the judgle rambostyle. Good model nice textures

Covax nice concept and clean modelling. Little harsh on the textures i think . too shiny?

Dark_Sword good try for i first there

MAFIA nice modell. practise makes perfect. :D

-R3D- nice modell there. Great textures. Still 1h modelling. Is it the booleans on the smoothed model that takes all the time?

Aogor good model . These challenges will definately improve your skills. Improved mine over the weeks and challenges :D

Orkron nice model there. U still had 20 min why didnt you explore the possibilities of some details on the razor head or on the handle?

SickCivic9818 nice modell there.

Dr-BoF 38 min and u gave up? come on. Try again. its looking good

roach105 good modell. nice hair on the brush

Garner great modell and render. I like the different kind of details on the parts

Nico_3D good entry. i think the size of the entry steals from you modell. make it 800x600 or 600x800 next time

mjglennon nice concept. good modelling and texturing

andoy great modell render and description. looking really good :D

mr_lemon great detail on the razor head. good modelling :D

Old_Nick great model. NIcelly through . good textures and render :D

shadowfax nice concept. nice model . so it tells u the time and your heartrate as well

alidanesh nice modell there . great looking textures

adamos great modell. Great textures and render

My first post and my first participation.
Short presentation : I'm designer and graphist in France.
You can see some 3d works of mine on www.buzhug.com .
(and sorry for my english).
Your works are very fine.

My work:
Cinema 4D
Modeling time : 45 mn
Design original.

[Edit] : thanks fastrak-3DT. And sorry. I have edited my post. I hope it's good.

Welcome to the forums. Nice website (although I do not read or speak french :)). I'm sure you have noticed other entries here in the speed modeling contests all have, or should, wireframes in their post. And I'm sure that it's an oversight that you have forgotten yours, so please edit the post and add the necessary elements to complete this entry.
Thank you

BuzHug: Great first entry. I'm curious to see the unsmoothed wire.

Aioria: Interesting futuristic look. also looks waterproof.

Adamos: Sharp :)

alidanesh: Great materials, though I think a full wire would be more valuble than your "exploded" version. You could always do an "exploded" wire instead.

shadowfax: I'm always in favor of the inventive entries. Your's looks like the "everything you need on a stick" approach. With some fine tuneing it might become something marketable.

Old_Nick: I think my mother used to use that one. ;) Good realism.

and now for my entry. It is a joke that many have done before me, the tiny mower on the beard, but I made it a little more belevable. It could even be motorized.

Have you guys modeled the WHOLE scene in the 60 minutes or just the razor?
If the whole scene was created in hte given time it would be wise to state it in your posts. Else they shall be judged only according to the razor.

Sorry for the belated responce.. but not really able to come to the office at the while :(

In every model i make everything that is in wireframe is modelled in the given time limit. so you can see that the background and the stand is not modelled in the time limit but the cap the handle the brush and the razor is

@SubCroC: Really? A winner? Id be happy with an honorable mention :) But winning would be nice. :) (I can dream can't I lol) :D

@mimi01: Cheers

@Orkron & mimi01: Thanks, I was shocked to see I was on the homepage, Its pretty cool, (thanks to who ever chose mine to put on there)

@alidanesh: Very nice Transparent Razor.

@Agamemnwn: Thanks, I used boolean to cut the hole in the blade but the writing was a texture i made,
The handle was a lathe (200 Rotational segs) lol. The writing on the handle was booleaned.
The wire - if you mean the 1st head bit, It was an extruded spline, put in a NURBS object to smooth, and booleaned the 2 holes out. then made it editable (into polys)
Should I change it to show just the extrude with basic polys or just leave it as it is?

@Agamemnwn: The 2nd model - yea the boolean took about 10mins to cut, I thought it was gonna crash due to the high poly count. lol

@Radulan: Nice Model (The GrassHopper) Different concept but cool :)

@Aioria: Nice model and render.

@Buzhug: Excellent first post, Nice model, well done.

@cptslog: Cool design, nice render. (We're on week 67 by the way not 66) lol :)

KARYMSKY: You got a great first entry. Even though it took 2 hours. I'm sure it was a learning experience.. remember if you want it to be considered a real entry you need to include a wireframe in the same image.

Twiddlefinger: I like the middle one a bit better than the left one, but that's just me. Also nice that you made each hole.

Mimi: Good job, even if you didn't have one to model off of.

Thats good to know. But you are not new to this game and have a good idea that we ask it to be stated on the post often.

It is no rule you are breaking by not posting thing such. But what happens is, is that the judge shall be only responsable in apreciating your skills for modeling the concept object(In this case the razor) in the given time limit. Which may be unfair on your part otherwise.
This is a helpful advice for your behalve.

Do as you wish.

SO if i get this straight u need me to state in my entries what i modelled in the time limit. i think its obvious in the wireframe as it was stated a while back that you (judges) where going to judge everything been in the wire, but i will do it anyway in the uppcomming entries :D . obviously it would be unfair to me in that case as i modelled everything i have in wireframe in the time limit or is it that u are going to judge it baddly because i modelled something else together with the shaver that u wanted?

Hi eh i had some problems with the wireframe because i modeled it in 3d studio max 7 then I had to save it into a mesh so that i could open it at home with 3d s max 6 to put materials and do renders...

Well anyways here is my super huge chain sword shaver. What can I say? Warhammer 40K inspired me...

again sry for the wireframe becasue i saved the mesh smoothed...

Sidaho – Nice clean simple model, render is very nice!

3Dvirus – Again nice clean simple model, texturing and render looks clean and cool – good old Gillette :)

Radulan: ah ok, but it was cool anyway =)
Covax: cool, looks like a mixup between a fruit and 3 alien worms :)
HawK: a little simple model but nice material and render!
macghost: welcome to the forum. But you need to check the rules(first page every challenge), the picture should include a wireframe (look at everyone elses picture) of you model. And you have to state in your post (or picture) the modellingtime. And the post should be in 800x600 or 600x800.
Jediego: that thing looks dangerous =)

alidanesh: Thanks for the comment, it made me glad =) Well some secrets to model with speed is keyboard shortcuts and Modelling / selection plugins =) I use "Meshtools 3 with CSPolyTools" and orionflame (the free verision). Both is free and can be downloaded at www.scriptspot.com . Oh and ofcourse to enhance the workflow is to costumize the UI so you have the tools you use the most easy accessible. I have a toolbar to the left with modelling stuff instead of the reactor toolbar , and I use the function "connect" all the time when modelling so I have that one on SHIFT+C etc etc =)

TheWinterLord: hehe I dont want to shave myself with that one =) nice work.
Sidaho: nice and clean model + render.
3Dvirus: nice and simple model.
the_bully: nice. Tell me, is maxwell as slow as everyone say? =)
UrsiNMC: nice, but a little to noise render for my taste =)

This one was made without reference pictures, so it was all done in my head ;)

Thanks for ya help OmegaN , in this picture i reduced the noise!
By the way does anybody know a good tutorial, or explanation on how to make photorealistic pictures and lightning? It would be a great help.

OmegaN
10-10-2005, 12:26 AM
UrsiNMC: well there isnt a certain way of doing photorealistic pictures. It all comes down to how realistic the model is (modelling tutorials), how realistic your materials reacts to light and its sourrounding (texturing and shading tutorials, Here you have to have knowledge of the real world so the best way to gather information to apply 3d is analyze the world around you. Like looking at wet things that they are a darker colour and have more highlights etc. Learning how diffrent things like aniostropic, translucensy etc work in the realworld then you know when to use the diffrent techniques). About lightning same goes here. Analyze the world, like on a sunny day how is the shadows, soft or sharp? (it gets softer the futher away from the shadowcasting object it comes). what colortint have the shadows, like on a sunny day they are a little blue tint (caused by the sky). How is the shadows beneath object etc etc etc.. I have some links here to good knowledge that applys to all softwares:

GOOD LIGHT KNOWLEGE (http://www.itchy-animation.co.uk/light.htm)

AD-Max: welcome to the forum, but you need to read the rules (front page) because you need to attatch the image not link to it. And you have to put a wireframe of you model in the same picture. And it has to be 800x600 or 600x800 in size

Why rely on metallic, ceramic, or clumbsy liquid blades? Now you have what the Space squadron of Ceti-Alpha-six used to keep themselves looking ship shape and flying right. Stubble is the enemy, what do you use on the enemy? Lazors.. and now you have them in the palm of your hand. Blast your stubble back to the information age!

Hawk;
Nice entry... but you may have a bit of a problem plucking hair with those..
they will tend to let go.
Unless you twist it to have the hair wrap around it's snout.
I had done the exact same mistake a dear years back... :)

It is a valid entry and I won't call it a DQ issue. But you may want to concider the efficiency of your next entry shall you have one in mind.
It counts greatly.

Agamemnwn;
I believe I was clear enough. Your choice.

Ad-Max;
Your image size is much greater than the dimensions permited. You may want to change your post.

Some absolutely fabulous models this week. Wow.

Just wow.

I'd point out specific ones I like, but really, there are just too many (and a few that truly stood out), but sadly I don't have the time to go through the list right now.

Needless to say, the majority of these are simply fantastic. Great work, guys!

I wanna post my tribute... but excactly how do I attatch the stuff propperly ?
Press "post reply" and then you have a button called "manage attatchments" under additional options. Then you just choose your file on your computer then click upload. To make it work your filesize has to be under 100kb in size.

And how can I make 3dsmax render to wire ?
Thats not necessary, you can just press print screen button on your keyboard when your in your 3d software and then composite the image in photoshop or an equal program

Hi syQ nice looking model, only downfall i can see is you've not added a wireframe to your image.

As OmegaN says "you can just press print screen button on your keyboard when your in your 3d software and then composite the image in photoshop or an equal program"

Also remember to add your wireframe to the image and post above, i dont think your allowed to post it seperate.

Well, seems I had to compromise a bit this week. Normally my modelling is done
within Rhino then transferred to Softimage as I happen to like nurbs over poly modelling.

However, Rhino and myself got into a fight over how the ' loft ' function should work. Long story short, Rhino won and I ended up having to model this in Softimage.

I am not nearly as proficient in poly modelling and the model is a prime example of it. This is pretty much all I could do within the hour time limit. One of the biggest issues I have with XSI is their horrible boolean tools. Thus, I didn't use them for the grip ' nibs ' for the lack of a better word.

Anyhoo, here is version one of the razor for this week. See if I can find the time for a second one.

Thanks PKT and SubCroc! Just learning Maya at uni, but these things are great for practicing things.. Hi.
I've been tempted to enter these competitions for a while. I finally decided to enter; I am using a freeware modeling program called Anim8or. I highly recommend it: it fits on a floppy, is free, and is possibly the best polygon/sub-division modeling program out there!
Please excuse the lack of any fancy rendering effects.
Comments and/or critiques are appreciated and respected.
Thanks.

Another excellent week everyone. Lot's of mighty fine models.

OmegaN - You've got a couple of very nice entries! I like all the little details you've got in the second one. Great work!

mimi01 - Nice entries this week! I like the presentation of your second one. Almost looks like a magazine ad.

-R3D- - Wow, you're just whipping out models left and right this week. :) Your models and presentations all look nice. I really like that scratchy metal texture on your second entry! Great job!

andoy - Great job on your electric razor! That tile texture looks familiar. :) That's one from the collection that I like to use too.

Old_Nick - Both your model and render look nice. Good job!

alidanesh - You've got a couple of fine entries this week! I love the textures on your first model. Nice work!

Buzhug - Welcome to the forums. I really like the presentation of your model. I look forward to seeing more work from you in the future.

cptslog - Interesting model. The render looks very nice. Great work!

twiddlefinger - Nice razor! I like the presentation too. Nice job!

Sidaho - Excellent work! Model, render and presentation all look nice!

SubCroC - Great entry! I can definitely see a "SubCroC" style to your models. Nice work!

adamos - Nice job! You've got a few nice models this week. I really like the render on your last one.

Now with any luck I'm off to make my model for this week.

Finally, here's my entry for the week guys!

Hope you all like.

All done in Maya with mostly procedural textures, save for a few customs tossed here and there for the logo on the bottom and for the light bump in the grip portions of the handle. Overall, a ton of fun, even if the texturing took much longer to tweak than I thought. Guess it comes with being inexperienced. :p

Also, I completely messed up and saved over the original model after smoothing when I intended to save a second version of it for all progress made after smoothing in order to go back and print-screen the rough wires, so I was left with the complex smooth wire.

All done from a cylinder poly primitive extruded ten ways from Sunday to make the final shape. Probably my best entry yet in these contests, so even if it isn't the best thing ever, I'm proud of it. :)

Radulan
12-10-2005, 10:08 AM

After a few tries, problems and workarounds I managed to finish my model within the time limit.
It was a hard subject but I really learned a lot with this model.
It is inspired in my old and trusty Philishave - didn't have more time to reproduce it exactly, but it's pretty close.

Must go now, I'm on my lunch break... well past my lunch break :haha:

@ Covax = excellent design. it is most likely marketable should you ever do it. (providing i am not missing something and it is not actually your design) love the model, love the render, nothing more to say??

@ Fastrak = agreed if the challenges were not tough enough the judging surely must be..

Hmm... actually I have invented this yesterday with no any reference.

Interesting to compare the same idea. Can you give info where you have seen something like my model?

Just a quick two cents of idea since I'm sitting at work.

I'm guessing the objects that are chosen for any given week of speed modeling are not quite as random as first glance might imply. On the ones I have participated in, the objects were deceptively simple LOOKING but most ( if not all in my case anyway ) had their trouble spots along the modelling process.

Curious if the judges / mods could reveal why that particular topic / object was the candidate for the week once the competition was closed. Ergo, we wanted to see how you handled xxx or yyy, how this attached to that, etc. etc.

Perusing the models submitted this week just goes to show me that I need to continue participation in the challenges as I still have a LOT to learn :)

There are some VERY talented folks in here both in the modelling and in the non-judged texturing / lighting fields as well. Always a pleasure to view some of the creativity this challenge can bring out in folks :)

I wish I could learn NURBS better so that I can make cooler smooth objects, but one big downside of LW is there is no LOFT tool! We get multi-rail extrudes, which I guess could be used LIKE a loft, but not as easily... maybe there's a plugin somewhere

Some truly GREAT work again this week.

Andrei313, Great model. I really love your composition in general, lighting, texturing, all of it. Grats on a job well done.

cyber_zero, I like the texture work here, man. I like the "sparkly" quality you have on the texture on the body. Was this from a color map you made, or does that come from somewhere else?

JohnBo, A shame you went over the hour, man. This is a great piece of work. One of the most creative in here, in a sea of those of us who literally just made razors. Welcome to the forums.

Theeman, Thanks, man. :)

Radulan, Yeah, definetely. This project helped out with digging around in the UV Map Editor and just working with textures. A shame that they didn't turn out quite as I'd hoped, but c'est la vie. I definetely learned from mistakes and from just working on this model. Thanks :D

alidanesh, Beautiful... Just beautiful.
