Hey people, I've done this in 3D Max 7 and Vray 1.46. I don't know if it looks professional? Actually i would love some critics on both the pictures and would like to know which one do you like more. Thanx, your critics will always help alot. Thanx again.

I personally think the Detailed Scene edited is your best. The only thing that..."catches" the eye would be the water. Im not sure if there is a tutorial out there, but it doesn't seem to be realistic and it doesn't flow with the rest of your scene. It looks too much like Jello :). Search for a tutorial, if there is one, and maybe you will get lucky :)

aigh a couple of crits to give yeh..first like sicarius said the water looks kinda odd...i think its becuhz the ripples dont seem like ripples but they remind me of more of a hillike shape... My last critique is the bridge...if you look at it at the middle of the bridge it looks way too thin compared to the rest.. if you used a cylinder to somehow mold it maybe make it farther down so its not so thin or somein... anyways other then that the pictures look really good :)
edit: oh and i just noticed that the balconies coming off of the building look a little off.. the ones on the far right side kinda look like ther comin off of nothin...

The edited picture is definately the best one. As for looking professional, not quite I feel. The problem lies with the water, the 'waves' are too big, make them smaller and I think the image will come together nicely.
