I've been working on this for about 45 min. now, and I'm getting into some of the same problems I always do, I've pointed it out in the last image this section, between the jaw line and cheek I always run out of edges to work with.
If anyone has any Ideas it would be appreciated, I'm trying to get some what decent loops going, advice would be great
-does'nt much look like Reeve yet, I'm hoping after I get the geometry in I can move stuff around

I think it's looking pretty good so far. Why dont u look at the Joan of Arc (http://67.15.36.49/ffa/tutorials/max/joanofarc/joanmenu.asp) tutorial for help on ur edge problem

hey =), I don't really understand the problem but look, I find this article very usefull, there explain ways to add or simplify meshes keeping quads:

and I use this pic for reference when I start a face :
bye the way, I think he already looks like Reeves, he's face has unique features like the shape of the lips and the eyes

Hey thanks that will come in handy,
I think I've got it working now, I was having trouble figuring out how to get enough loops in to get the ear in

The hair is just temporary, need to work on ears now, thinking maybe I need to widen the face some, and the stress at his brows needs to be decreased

Looking good. But yea definately decrease the stress on the eyebrows a bit. Other than that, it's looking good IMO

The cheek bone area needs to be softened up. It's looking like him though. Great work.
