thx...i think the reflection is too much :)
21-12-2005, 10:02 AM
Wow that blue paint test render reminds me a lot of NFSU(Need For Speed Underground) Keep it up
21-12-2005, 02:58 PM
test again, and again i forgot to invisible the light!
21-12-2005, 03:27 PM
\\another,black...i think i like black paint
22-12-2005, 07:35 AM
Looking sweet man. How did you do the paint? Also, how many polys is your model?
22-12-2005, 07:44 AM
spidermax Hi looks great
Dreamdtt2000 Hi I was looking for your car to help you out
22-12-2005, 08:16 AM
hi dream,thanks for reply..thx kujoe..u r good too :)
i did use vray material, gradian ramp in a diffuse slot (playing color here ;) ),and playing with reflect n refraction too.. i put 4 'invisible' vraylight, put car on plan platform applied with matte shadow material, white environtment background color (keystroke '8') and applied hdr environtment in vray render option (f10)...
22-12-2005, 02:20 PM
okay guys, changed front car, adding sidemirror,doorhandle...and i using beach hdr for the environtment :haha:
22-12-2005, 05:10 PM
Damn, I do not have vray. Sweet model though. Hey kujoe, my car is in this thread. I need ideas on how to model the inside of the headlight and the grille. Thanks.
27-12-2005, 04:17 AM
thanks...the front car need to improve a little bit
27-12-2005, 09:16 AM
nice model, except i think you have some kind of mesh error where the front fender joins up with the wheel well. if you don't see what i'm talking about let me know and i'll circle it for you. also the top and back of the car seem way too dark. don't know if its your lighting or your shader, but i think its the shader. i like the new front though, very nice.
27-12-2005, 11:23 AM
hey friend!
model looks cool. need some work around those edges and seams.
render needs much work. your rendering with Vray? or what.
if you are i can give you settings for this scene (http://forums.3dtotal.com/showpost.php?p=417408&postcount=13)
the material is similar to this (http://forums.3dtotal.com/showpost.php?p=380578&postcount=54)
i also got some great settings for mental ray if you want to use that again
or whatever other render.
27-12-2005, 10:59 PM
The reason why the supra in the pic looks chunky, is that it has wise body kit.. at least 2 inches to both sides... :D
Btw the model is looking great.. very nice :D
28-12-2005, 03:54 AM
btw spider.. your front looks to rond, the hood..
28-12-2005, 05:46 AM
thx guys for the crits :)
loser: thx for the comment...top picture is like kind of some test render, and i think it is the shader (vraylight is not invisible)
evil: hi my friend this time i'm using vray n i need ur help again :p...i like ur render and i hope i could learn from u...for the help, i need more details about the scene setup, light, environtment, material becoz i cant get it
mayhemation:hi, thanks for stopping by n i thinks u r rite bout the wide body...hey mate...i need ur help bout vrayreplacement mod coz i need to save my poly
for Ravens Stubby- i will fix it until it look good :) thx
29-12-2005, 02:15 PM
okay...not much update just i've spend two day bout to finish this rim...only for fun or i might use it for this supra... :)
30-12-2005, 12:57 AM

materails arent bad.
30-12-2005, 01:42 AM
